Default Tutorial required on web design +rep

    hey,

I've decided that mabey its time to develop some new skills, and so i'm going to have a shot at web design, i dont intend to sell designs, just so i have some knowledge on it really, and it'd be nice to be able to make myself layouts eventually.

I've looked through the first few pages of the Tuts section, unsuccessfully, I wondered if any one could suggest any good ones?

Search on pixel2life.com? Haven't been on there in years but used to be very good and had a range of complexity.

What youve got to remember that their are endless oppurtunites with webdesign and you have to take your skills your own way. For example, I cant design to save my life, i know a little bit about CSS and a fair bit about HTML, beginner with PHP. I base most of my projects on PHP because that what i know about that most. If your looking to deign layouts then i wouldnt recommend following tutorials because you always end up with a tutorial style looking layout, obvious the tutorials are good to help you with tips on how to do certain aspects but make sure you incorporate you into your designs, people will appreciate is much more!
Coding's something i picked up over time from generally browsing through open source webscripts and looked at how things had been accomplished.

    Websites for tips on coding:
    HTML:
    www.w3schools.com/htmL
    www.htmlcodetutorial.com
    www.htmltutorials.ca
    www.yourhtmlsource.com
    www.echoecho.com/html.htm

    PHP:

    www.tutorialized.com/tutorials/PHP
    www.tizag.com/phpT

    CSS:
