32/64 Bit Max Partitions [+REP]

Hey,

I've been using 64bit Win7 for a while now and was just about to tripple boot it with Vista and XP only to find the error message 'You cannot create a new volume in this unallocated space because the drive already contains the maximum number of partitions'. Which was annoying because now I cant even install either Vista or XP for compatibilty of Seven so was just wondering is their the same restrictions in the 32bit version or isn't their any difference?

I tried using google but didn't really find anything or I didn't search the right thing.

32/64 does not affect the hard drives.

Maybe. There could be a few other factors which are causing it that may be solved by using a 64bit disc

You need to use some logical partitions, you can have a maximum number of primary partitions, I think it might be 2 or 3.
