The Pain Inside

When I look to the sky
I see your face
When I think of you, I try not to cry
But down my face, the tears continue to race

You aren't worth it
That's what they told me
But when you were here it was all okay
Why couldn't you just stay?

I watch you love someone else that isn't me
The pain I experience inside
The tears flowing free
The pain I experience inside

I walk in the rain so no-one can see I'm crying
I seem okay, I laugh, I talk
But inside I'm slowly dying
And in the rain I walk

But you are worth my tears
And you are worth my pain
When you pushed me away
I can't take the strain

It's easy for me to say it,
because I know that it's true
Even if it whittles to a bit
I'll always love you.
