Default Why Doesn't My Hair Grow Down!?!?!

For Busy People, Main Points Are In Red!

Hey guys, im in a dilema.. Basicly im a guy, And want to start growing my hair so its long and flicks out at the bottom, but my hair grows OUT like an afro rather than down?
Im wondering how to make it go down. Does thinning your hair with thinning scissors help it grown downwards? Thanks!
    +rep for any answers!

Thinning your hair will not make it grow downwards, you need to 'tame' your hair by using loads of gel or another styling product. Keep applying gel to straighten your hair down everyday and eventually your hair will naturally grow down.

I have a similar problem- my fringe defies gravity.
Go to a hairdresser, tell them about your problem and they will cut your hair to try and hide the problem. You can try using gel or straightening it, but you'd have to do it everyday and it might not work.
P.s don't use thinning scissors, hair thickness is not the problem =)
