Computer Problem

Ok, so I turned on my laptop this morning, it starts to load up then I get a message saying 'NTLDR is missing, press any key to restart'. So I do that and all I get is the same message over and over and cannot do anything.

Does anybody know that problem or what it means?

This happened to me too. It happened when I compressed my hard drive. The only option is to re-install your operating system.

Yeah its the only option i have now. Dell wanted me to pay the $60 for them to talk me through software support with the possibilitly of saving my data. Shocking!
