I think this is rubbish.. Because every week nearly all the top sides sell out there stadium, so why are people saying its become too expensive?
Its a excuse.
The most ive spent on a away is £50, and that was fulham £30 for travel £20 for ticket. My mum paid for chelsea for me![]()
Well it isn't rubbish.
Top team stadiums are still selling out because the regular common working class citizen who would go along to the football each week are being outpriced, are giving up their season tickets and end up not being able to go each week to the football. These are being replaced by middle class citizens and 'business types', those their for the social occasion.
So people are being outpriced out of the game, but other types of football fan are replacing them.

My ticket is £1 a game next season
or less if we're in championship because more games.
hehehehe
yeah i was amazed when i first read about that. alarm bells rang even when boro lowered their under 18s to 95 but 19 quid is unbelievable, suppose it invests in the clubs future fanbase.
well, put it this way, if we get to the premier league next season I won't be going to the same number of away games that I have been to this season.
.
We're getting loads more £1 a ticket games after last night, wonder what this will do to the ST...
Arsenal season tickets are over £1000 in places. QPR's season tickets are about £600 next year. Both of these examples are abolutely ludicrous prices. A season ticket, for me, should be about £500 maximum for most teams. There's no need to increase them more than that. It's unfair and selfish.
Alot of QPR fans aren't renewing season tickets because of the prices, and the "clueless owners". They're furious with them, they're sick of being overpriced, and underwhelmed.
