    Default How does remote desktop actually work?

    Recently I've been using remote desktop (Where you control the PC remotely) and I was just wondering if anyone has any idea how it actually works? The technology behind it etc? and would it be difficult to build a custom remote desktop client?

    It uses the RDP protocol.
