Forty-one people have been killed in an attack on a wedding party in south-eastern Turkey, local media say. Turkey's NTV reported the death toll, citing a deputy governor. He said the assailants were carrying bombs and automatic weapons.
It was not immediately clear who carried out the attack, which reports said happened in or near the town of Mardin. Details are still emerging.
Government troops have been fighting Kurdish rebels in the area.
The rebels have been battling for more autonomy since 1984. More than 40,000 people have died in the violence.
Several people were reported to have been wounded in Monday's attack.
