    Default Vbulletin Database Restore Problems

    Hey,

Not too sure whether this is the right section or not, if not them im sorry .

Anyway, I have been trying to restore my forum backup and all of its up except from them MYSQL database. It comes up to about 7MB in size and its too much for me to manually handle and for phpmyadmin to handle and im just wondering if there is another way around it?

I need a way i can do it, without needing to restore it as a full backup.. I'm not sure if there is a way of doing this through SSH and stuff..

Any ideas about it? please could you help meee!
Any help would be much appreciated .

    Thanks,
    Josh .

How did you take the backup? as if it was from cPanel then you could restore it via cPanel instead of PHPmyadmin

If not then you will need to get your host to do it via shell. Unless you have shell (shh) permissions.

The MYSQL database just refuses to upload via cPanel.. probs because of the size of it.

If you can obtain a copy of Navicat Oracle then this application will rid of your problem.

Navicat Oracle won't help solve a problem with importing into a MySQL database. You could use Navicat MySQL though.

Oh dear, my mistake. Just took the name out of the title I assumed the new version was called 'Oracle'.
