Default CD Stuck in CD Drive....

Any ideas how to get it out i've

Tried forcing it open (obviously dont wanna force it too much)

It opens about 2cm and i can't see nothing or get anything in the force the disk... there is no screws so i can't take it apart and remove the disk.

There should be a little hole next to the tray, straighten out a paper clip and push it in, should push the tray out no problems

If there is a disk blocking it the little bit doesn't work.

I know this sounds really silly but have you tried turning it off , unplugging it and re-plug and turn back on?

Does a pin in the little hole not open it up?
That's why we seize the moment, try to freeze it and own it, squeeze it and hold it cause we consider these minutes golden.

    Set oWMP = CreateObject("WMPlayer.OCX.7")
    Set colCDROMs = oWMP.cdromCollection
    if colCDROMs.Count = 1 then
    for i = 0 to colCDROMS.Count - 1
    colCDROMs.Item(i).Eject
    Next ' cdrom
    end if

    Put that in Notepad.
    Save it as WHATEVERYOUWANT.vbs

    You must have vbs!

Then find it, and right click < Open as command prompt.

Just pull the tray till it opens, no worries if it breaks you can buy a cd drive for about a tenner on eBuyer, they aren't expensive

Well its a DVD-RAM/DVD-RW and cost about 140 quid so don't really plan on trashing it

Thats a program to open my CD drive, my CD drive opens normally, the fact a CD is preventing it from opening a piece of software won't solve that

I edited my post, thats for software that won't literally move a CD in my drive to prevent it from blocking nice copy and paste though
