my Wi-Fi wont work as my netgear wont install

kk i cant get my netgear working
i get everything plugged in how its spose to be done
but i dont get the wifi on :S
is this because its through a laptop
im sure this isnt a problem
but i may be wrong

Have you got your laptop wired into your rooter via Ethernet/USB or are you trying to connect to wireless straight away.

Netgear omg we had the same problem x wireless router ?
We rung up customer services and took us a while with them
I think that's ur best hope
It takes a while but ive had mine about since September and is very reliable

Ok, if you only pluged it in and just wanted it to work,
you will fail.

When you first open it
plug it all in,
go on a wired pc, (Ethernet/USB)
Open up browser and follow on screen installation.
And then once its all configed and you know wifi password
connet and should work.

Yer, hes right you would need to go in through a wired connection first, to setup as all rooters now come with a default WEP key, to stop insecure connections. You would have to login via a wired connection to obtain the key.
