I'm looking for dollhouse miniaturists

I'm desperately looking for new friends, who are dollhouse miniaturists. In my own age group. I'm 23. Would happily talk to teenagers about miniatures, though for proper friendship I'd prefer 16 and up.

Dollhouse miniaturists make scale models of the insides of houses (and often the outsides too). I work in 1:12 scale. People make really cool things, like http://www.fluffybricks.blogspot.com (not trying to spam you, I'm trying to explain my hobby and why it's awesome)

I don't suppose anyone here is a miniaturist or knows one that I could talk with? Anywhere in the world. I'd also be willing to chat (very willing) if you're simply interested!

It's lonely being in a fairly obscure hobby, where most people are much older than you, (it's common amongst retirees as it takes so much time) or little kids.

This reminded me of a PostSecret that was posted last week, it was about his uncle building him a dollhouse and him keeping it and showing it to his kids or something...

Hey. Nothing wrong with that. I wish I could reply to him and tell him about my miniatures club which has about 15 men in it making dollhouses. Or my own father who spent hours making mum and I a miniature outside toilet complete with rust stains on the fake corrugated iron roof.
