    Default Favourite Artist/Art style?

I think there's a word for what I mean by Art Style" I can't think of it now lol but my favourite is surrealism. I love The Persistance of Memory by Salvador Dali - it's a really famous painting with dripping clocks draped across trees and stuff, it's really good. I like Swans Reflecting Elephants by Dali as well, that's a really clever painting.
What The Water Gave Me by Freda Kahlo is another one of my favourites.

I like the impossible staircase picture by M.C Escher too it's called Relativity but he wasn't a surrealist artist I don't think - according to Wikipedia he was a graphic artist.

So what are everyone elses favourite artworks/artists/styles?

I love David Hockney and the way he does them photomontages. The one he done of his Mother was good. I studied him for my Art Exam Preperation and found his work really interesting.
Not too sure on any others but I'm sure I will come across a lot more in the next two years as I have picked Art for A Level.

At first glance I assumed this would be music related (even though that has it's own section) but then I realised it was paintings and that stuff. Isn't there a place for these things? And as for my fav artist, Vincent Vangoth because he is the only Artist I can remember hearing of because I think art is really boring.
