Well im going to buy a normal desktop computer im wanting to have mac software on it, the specs are

3 gig ram
would that be fine for a mac?

Give a list of specific hardware, saying 3g ram wont help, OS X is stupidly locked into a bunch of crap, if you list your stuff I can tell you if your computing machine is compatible.

is what i was going to buy then stack it up with some more stuff, incl the ram as thats horrible ram![]()
so does mac require loads more stuff than vista?
You can't simply pop a Mac OS X disc in your disc drive and it will install, you have to a hacked distro to work on normal PC's, which you'll have to torrent and also have a compatible computer. You really need to know what you're doing or you'll mess it up.
EDIT: That computer you posted is so old that you're going to have real trouble trying to find parts to upgrade it with.

I grabbed my old OS X hdd, slapped it in my computer and installed the 4890 fixes, worked fine.
Just thought you should know that.
