Default Been told the magical words

    Hey,

Well I am a heavy PC user because I game alot and I started of on a PC so I've always liked them however I've always had a hidden thing and wanted a MAC but it never really happend cause I just never thought it would be worth it but after the years I started to want one more and more just to see what their like because they look flipping amazing.

Anyway, I kept telling my mum I wanted a Mac Mini and she came into my room the other day and said "Hey. Do you want one of those macs than?" and I thought she was having me on. However she wasn't so I showed her some and she said I could get an iMac so I was shocked but happy and couldn't wait but wanted to get some recommendations first as to what and what not to get.

Of course these are the 4 options + customizables:

She said I could get whatever one and just let her know.

I don't do much really and it being a Mac I would probably just browse the web, use MSN, skype, and download stuff.

So what stuff would you recommend I get and which specs like Processor, RAM etc.

Thanks in advance for all help.

Will REP extremely useful/well effort posts.

The 20" iMac or the lowest 24" would easily do you then, obviously if its your first Mac then you don't really want to be spending loads incase you don't like it.

The MSN on Mac is crap ^-^. Lowest 24" I'd say.

I hope you like the mac when you get it

I would the the base line 24" as you got the big screen and the power to do what ever as i am sure you use your mac for loads of things when you get it.

Never argue with an idiot, he'll drag you down to his level, and beat you with experience.

    Lucky guy!

The 24" 2.66GHz is the one I (like most others) would suggest. For around £200 the difference is worth it.
