Out tomorrow I think, so I'm going to try it on an Acer Aspire One, which I hear works a treat with Fedora.
Everything pretty much works out of the box I'm sure.
Any other netbook Linux recommendations?

I've had Linpus, Mint, and Ubuntu on my AAO, now I'm using Windows 7. Windows 7 works a treat on the AAO, I love it! But if you're more of a Linux type of person, then I recommend Ubuntu netbook remix, or just Ubuntu.![]()
I've only got the 8GB SSD version so there's no chance for anything other than XP or a Linux dist.
Plus I heard Ubuntu has some wireless issues on the AAO, so I'm just going for Fedora 11, which works straight after install and boots in 20 seconds like the Linpus version.

Just vLite the ISO first![]()
512 MB of RAM wont support Windows 7 for now though, so I'll need to max it to 1.5 GB hopefully.
Just updated my Fedora 10 install to 11 on my laptop and the bootloader is nice!
Already there is 229 updates for me on an update from Fedora 10 so I don't know how many updates there will be for a clean install.
I will post some screenshots etc soon when I get everything sorted.
Never argue with an idiot, he'll drag you down to his level, and beat you with experience.

The bootscreen is quite nice to look at for a good 10 seconds.
Got Yum, Wine, yada yada all set up nicely now.
Might try to dualboot with Windows 7, not quite sure whether that's a plan yet.
well if you install linux first THEN windows it should be fine if you do it the other way round it's quite a bit of aggro.

I've got a bit of a mad setup now, I have Windows 7 running with a 4GB USB stick acting as a 'ReadyBoost' device, and a seperate 2GB USB with a Fedora live.
So if I need to do something with Office or whatever, I'll just boot as normal; but if I need a little more speed and for general web browsing, I just boot Fedora.
