i think snow rugs are ugly so i don't like either. i know you're going for the winter look so you shouldn't change it. just i personally don't like snow rugs in any room, they ruin it for me.

I agree however, I do prefer the norm snow rugs which were sold in the catalogue, maybe they would look better in that room.

I think the first room is good. I like the colour scheme you have going the cool/cold/winter colours such as blues and whites!
