Default MSN doesn't work on Windows 7

Ok, this is the thing right. I have Windows XP SP3 running fine, all programs fine, all plugins fine everything. Recently I found out that the RC copy of Windows 7 had been released so I decided to try it out. Pretty snazy! I'm actually running it now, but the one that sucks is I always get the Error Code: 81000306 when I try to sign into MSN. It claims that my firewall could be blocking it. So I've added it to the allowed list and even disabled my firewall altogether with no luck. The weird thing is MSN still works fine on XP. Why does Windows 7 not like it!! :S

    Thanks Adiculantes for this ^^

I had this problem too, I think its just that Windows 7 sorta things are blocked on the MSN Services if you get me? I mean the actual servers wont let you access using Windows 7.

Thats what I put it down too, and I had the same OS and everything. Works alright on Vista 64-bit though >.>

I dunno' if it'll work, but try installing MSN in compatibility mode for Vista, just Vista, and then when it's installed, try running it in compatibility mode for Vista too.
It might be worth a try.
