    soo the software update 3.0 is out i want to buy it but my ipod is jailbreaked so will all my stuff stay on or will it go ?

    Dont buy it! If you insist on buying it, than you must un-jailbreak your ipod first. But really, why not download it for free than jailbreak it again on the 3.0 software?

    If you upgrade, it will go but then you can re-jailbreak it You can download the update for free, you know where.

    No you dont have to unjailbreak if you download for free.
