His PC is really slow, I have no idea why. It has 130GB on it's HDD and it has 1GB RAM. It's a normal office PC and he's only using MS Word, Firefox and the likes. I've defragmented it and disk cleaned it so many times. Anyone have any programs that can help it?
    It's running XP

If your on PC is better and you don't use his much then it may just be that his isn't slow, your just used to the speed of your own...

    No, it's terribly slow.
It takes 5 minutes to open MS Word.

When something like word opens slow it's probably a hard drive issue as loading word doesn't use much CPU and it's not very RAM intensive. Perhaps the hard drive is constantly reading/writing for some reason. It the orange/red LED on the case constantly flickering?

Dunno, it works fine sometimes. I was wondering if there was a program like a disk cleaner.

CCleaner can speed the thing up I think
That's why we seize the moment, try to freeze it and own it, squeeze it and hold it cause we consider these minutes golden.

Just save all the important files and reformat, that usually solves any software issues. If that doesn't work you know its a problem with the hard drive like nick said
