In your cover letter you need to explain why you're interested in doing an apprenticeship, it's also good to show that you know a bit about it. Try to pick out key parts of your CV that really stand out and will make the employer want to look into your application further. You can also put things that don't really fit into your CV on the covering letter.
Make your covering letter personal to the person it's aimed at and it's best not to make it too long!
In your covering letter you could include information about yourself, why you want the job and what you understand the job to be about. Make sure you keep it upbeat and enthusiastic.
Hope that helps![]()
Not got any suggestions but good luck to you
Edited by Catzsy [Forum Super Moderator]: Its nice to wish somebody good luck but pretty much a pointless post, which should be avoided in future. Thanks

Thats an example of a cover letter that you could use as a template.![]()
Thanks, I was on a website similar to that and I got somewhere with it. Unfortunately the deadline to hand in the CV and Cover Letter was 6/7/09 which I was unaware of.http://www.how-to-write-a-cover-lett...-Examples.html

Applying for what? Junior apprentice has already been done, no more applicants apart from ones who got picked for interviews. Unless i presume you're applying for the real one, and need to be 18 or over?
Urm the junior apprentices are still running...?
My connexions advisor sent me a few application forms with the likes of BT and NHS
