Xbox games on 360

Can anyone tell me what i need to do exactly to be able to play some regular xbox games on my 360 particularly KOTOR.

Open the disk tray, put the disk in, close the tray and start playing, not all games work though.

You need Live or a Update disc first off, which will load something onto your box so it reads them, then you gotta find a list of whats supported - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of..._with_Xbox_360 - By the looks of things star wars is supported - Sound may sometimes become very quiet until the Xbox is reset; often experiences heavy lag during combat and short lag bursts out of combat. May also experience freezing during gameplay not associated with cutscenes. Xbox 360 may freeze when you bash the middle egg inside the crystal cave on Dantooine. Conversations will randomly lag from NPC characters, usually goes away once conversation is finished.However the PAL version of the game plays normally with only very minor glitches
