Kaspersky and AVG - GRRRRR!!

ok right, the problem im having with kaspersky atm is that it won't turn its anti-virus protection on because apparently it can't run with AVG on my computer.

I have searched for AVG on my computer and don't have a single trace of it.

I've payed for the licence and it's annoying me now because it won't work.

Any ideas on how to get it to work?

Have you ever had AVG installed on the computer? Because I remember reading somewhere that if you've had AVG on the computer at all and then install kaspersky it won't work.

that's a good link, however AVG does not show up in the registry editor :S

My dad put Kaspersky on his laptop, it blocked everything and anything and the Internet would not work at all until we removed the programme, nightmare.

kaspersky would appear to have installed :S
