    Default stupid router, wireless problem

    o hai, my computers won't connect to my router wirelessly, and when they do, there's no internet and it doesnt last long. it was fine last night, now it's not but nothing has changed and it just keeps saying 'waiting for the network'. what can i do?

    netgear router btw, works fine if i plug it in via ethernet

    If it works with ethernet sounds like it hasn't been set up for wireless, when you first got it did you put ethernet in then disc etc to set it up?

    probably, it was a while back now but it's worked wirelessly problem-free since ive had it

    That's really weird I dunno what it could be really, maybe your ISP or phone line or something if it's been working fine and all of a sudden just playing up.

    Have you tried re-booting? If not your channel may have changed. You need to get into your router settings and see everything is okay. If not keep on the router setting and ring your ISP to make sure that all the settings are as they should be. I had this happen once and they told me to change to a different channel.
