    Default Buying first car [help]

    well im gna be buying my first car within the next month hopefully

    wheres the best place to look? [and cheapest]

    Are there any insurance companies that are cheapish for young drivers like speciality companies?

    id like to get a fiesta probably 1.2/4, 3 door the old ones even tho id like a fiesta xr2i but i imagine the insurance would cost **** loads

    im on like a 3k budget i think ill know how much when royal london send me a cheque ;D but thats to cover insurance, car, few lessons, and i wna get some clothes and a few other things

    if you're really serious on buying a car then you wont go and buy clothes and ****..

    Check autotrader for cheap cars, or even ebay motors. Though if your buying privately make sure u do an HPI check,

    That will tell u if the cars stolen or wrote off or if anything has happend to it.

    ill be able to dont worry, im looking on buying a car second hand btw and dont u need to pay for hpi checks

    Yeah it's a couple of quid. I don't know how old you are obv but try Swinton. Mine's just over a grand with them .

    You have 3k for a car and insurance, of course your buying one second hand!

    Autotrader is the place to look, a lot of people stick their cars on ebay if they have problems so I wouldn't look there. Always make sure they are HPI clear, if they don't have full service history then make sure the pedals, seats, steering wheel, doors and the sound of the engine match the mileage. If you have any local garages then go check them out and see if they have any cheap cars in. Good luck and make sure you don't buy a crapper.
