Default Free and Paid Requests sub-forums.

Ok, I think it's a little random that the Free Requests forum (http://www.habboxforum.com/forumdisplay.php?f=1128) is located in Designing & Development (http://www.habboxforum.com/forumdisplay.php?f=56), whereas the Paid Requests forum (http://www.habboxforum.com/forumdisplay.php?f=1301) is located in Web Market (http://www.habboxforum.com/forumdisplay.php?f=1230).

Wouldn't it be better/easier/simpler if both the Free Requests and Paid Requests sub-forums were located in the same forum. Either Web Market or D&D, it doesn't matter which.

No, any money involved should be kept in web market, and Free stuff cannot be put there.

I see and would agree with your point but as chips said, Paid Requests needs to be in Web Market and Free Requests can not be in Web Market. Their forum descriptions have links to each respectively and I think that's the best you can do really.

I see what you mean, and I guess it would be alot easier for the poster however like mentioned money is involved therefore its best suited in the webmarket section.

I think the paid requests forum should be abolished anyway. It is for buying stuff which means that the main forum is for selling stuff, seems a bit odd to split them up. They're not very busy anyway and some people post their requests in the main forum anyway.

Yeah when I first saw this thread I was going to ask what the point in the main forum was, but of course it's for people to post things they are selling. But yeah, the main forum and sub-forum aren't that active for continued separation to be necessary.

And people do post requests in the main forum and they post them all over the place as well so the actual Paid Requests sub-forum is bound to be a bit dead anyway.

I don't think have both Paid and Free Requests together is such a bad idea, well, it has a case anyway. The Web Market main forum is generally where people post layouts they are selling and these are usually sold for money and can go for anything up to and above £30 or £40. However paid requests are more often just smaller things such as banners and scripts etc which people often only offer furni or even rep, maybe a few pounds.

Then again, there's enough big requests for layouts etc to entitle it to its current position so I don't know.

This will probably end up being resolved by leaving things as they are.

It's quite possible merging them and putting prefixes of [Paid] [Free] in could be a solution.

As robald said, people seem to be unable to find certain sections very easily as most of the moderating I do in that section is simply moving people's threads to the various sections. Quite often they remake it as they lose it once more.

I'm for a merge as it keeps all requests in one place.

Yeah I forgot to suggest prefixes as well. Both could just be part of the main forum along with a [Selling] prefix? Then all posts will be categorised .

The problem is, alot of the people who would do the free stuff do not tend to prowl the Web Market section, they tend to stick around the DD forum. It's a different type of people in each section. With a bit of crossover.
