Well i remeber in school some of the external harddrives used to have splitters so it could connect to two pcs's at once, i cant seem to find it on the net so +rep if you can find usb splitters.

It would be some kind of box I guess, you couldn't have a USB cable split into two with just cables.

If it's an external HDD or printer, you'd be better using an USB>Ethernet converter so then all computers on the network could access it.
