    Default Meeting people?

So basically, I really want to meet someone special. I'm sick of being single, I got out of a really, really crap relationship a few months ago which was my first ever relationship and I just want a decent one really. I'm starting to feel pretty lonely to be honest.
I've never had much luck with blokes at all - as in meeting them and getting to know them.
I may not be beautiful or anything but I don't think I'm ugly, and I know my personality isn't awful either, I just can't seem to find anyone who I remotely fancy who wants to be involved with me.
I go out often to clubs and bars and stuff but it's impossible to meet anyone there - most of the blokes are after one thing only anyway.

I guess I just want some ideas of how to meet new, decent men my own age?

Also, and this may sound stupid, I do want to settle down at some point. I'm almost 22 now and by 25 I think it is, in medical terms, I'm going to be pretty much past my best chance of having children. I'm frightened of ending up alone and childless. I just feel as though I'm getting older and older and having no luck with the opposite sex whatsoever.

Any advice guys? Please be kind, I really would appreciate it if any nasty remarks were kept to yourselves

Yes, us males are after one thing.. a decent relationship, just like you are after one If you can't find someone try a different club/bar. Or drink some alcohol to help loosen yourself up (ooh, double meaning !)

Have you tried internet dating sites (if you REALLY can't find anyone)

Thats rubbish, many mums around here are above 25, my boss for instance is about 33(??) and is having her first child next year :S

Recently I went to a music exhibition and the majority of the people there were 17 - 24 of both sexes, perhaps look into going to events like music exhibitions or just anything teen related. There not that expensive and you would most likely meet someone the same age of you that you may like. I think going to places were alcohol isn't related may be better because you will find out how the person is normally and without alcohol. I really like how your not like most people and you don't just say "I can't get in a relationship because I'm ugly" or "I'm beautiful why doesn't anyone like me" so +Rep and I wish you all the best.
