well basically got to do a newspaper report on a volcano eruption and i fancy giving it a go on the computer

what programs should i use to do it?
and if anyones kind enough can help me out/start me off (send to me on msn/email), [email protected]

I just had to do a newspaper for geog. i used MS Publisher, i don't have it at home so used MS Word then at school copied onto MS Publisher

Just use MS publisher if you know how to use it right then you will get some good stuff off it

As others have said use MS Publisher for a professional looking design, would make your work look better than most (maybe all) other programs.

Unless you mean you actually want to try and make the eruption?

Thing is, I don't have MS Word, Publisher etc

EDIT: Managed to get a 60 day trial, if anyones any good with MS Publisher add [email protected] if you fancy helping me out

right so you now have publisher for 60 days, get a template you like and it will have a load of text boxes, most with columns, will autofill into the next bow, just type away, it will change into each box in order by itself. Hope that helps :p

I am sure there is some good front pages.

I often make people birthday cards on publisher. Perhaps just use a black page and start from scrap?

I had to do the exact same thing for geography homework. I just used word though because I couldnt be bothered Still got a good grade though, he wasn't bothered about the design, mostly the content (which is what it's all about, after all!)

i aint got microsoft word, powerpoint etc
i just downloaded publisher for 60 days trial :/

i do have openoffice though, think i could do on that?
