    Default Dedicated Physx Card?

Is having a dedicated Physx card worth it?

I mean.. like.. Just to take the load off the MAIN graphics card? Making it a little more future proof im guessing?

No, very few games use it IIRC.

I've heard the opposite tbh. I suppose it depends on what you play.

Apparently source games use them quite a lot, Im guessing games like Farcry 2 and Crysis/2 Will?

Source doesn't use PhysX, neither do Far Cry 2 or Crysis.

Batman and mirrors edge are the only decent games with it included.

Well i'd say just wait until you have a decent amount saved up for a new PC, like £500+ and then take a look at what's on the market then.

You can use a spare nvidia graphics card that has physx support as a dedicated physx card.
