Document fail.

i got word 97, year ******* ancient o well cba to pay or download new versions...

So im downloading my college assignment try to open it and i get a face full of ****.

i need to convert it to the proper file type but i don't know how...

word 97 remember.

and the file im trying to open is DOC

Word 97 should be able to open .doc files?

Microsoft might have a convertion program on their website, which converts document types to different versions e.g. .doc, .docx, .rtf etc

i went on other pc on a more modern and less ****** up system than my laptop and it worked but +rep anyways i can be sure it would have came in handy ^^

thats if i can +rep atm with being cautioned, uncautioned in an hour though.
