I really dont like piercings on guys tbh. I think they look stupid. Thats just my opinion though, if you really want it get it, who cares what anyone else thinks.

I have both ears pierced and nobody has ever said anything to me about it. If you want it do it, and if people say stuff too you, take it out. Simple.
