    Default Blackberry help!

I purchased a blackberry curve 8520 on pay monthly contract with this:
    - unlimited texts
    - 200 minutes
    - 500mb internet add on

which comes at 25 quid a month, then it arrived today. It says I need to buy a blackberry package just to download apps etc? If i buy the blackberry extra's, do I still need the 500mb internet add on or can i get rid of it?

I'm assuming this is like Canadian carriers.

You still have to pay for that data even if you're using your platform's app store.
I'm not crazy, ask my toaster.

Right i got my blackberry curve 8900 this month and there was deal with unlimited internet however I rang orange and they said theres two plans
Theres a normal unlimited internet plan [subject to fair usage] which is for normal phones.
Then thres a BIS plan [Blackberry internet plan] which is £5 a month same price as the normal internet plan.

Ive got that atm. Im guessing you need that or u cant use blackberry services such as the browser etc.
Id ring them up and ask them and maybe ask to swap the unlimited internet plan to the BIS plan
