Default Holidays if you live near the sea.

When ever I go on holiday, I always wonder if the people who live where I'm holidaying (always by the seaside) ever go on holidays themselves, SO!

Do you live near the seaside? Do you ever go on holiday or do you prefer to be where you are?

Thanks guys, I was just curious!

I'm guessing you just mean within the UK? I live on the coast and we usually go to central Ireland because we have family over there. I think when we've just gone on random trips though, it has still been by the seaside .

Yea, anywhere really. It's just when I go on holiday to really nice places, I think ''the people living here must love it!'' Then I thought, ''I wonder if they go on holiday?'' Haha!

    Thanks for the response Robald.

lol New York? Hot?!?! In the 5 times i've been to new york, it's never been hot But then again, New York is simply astounding when it comes to cultural differences.

I live slap bang in the middle of the Uk, so beach = holiday, rain or shine

I live right next to Brighton beach. I don't really go on many holidays, but it's usually abroad in the USA.

Closest beach to me is Rottingdean - few miles outside Brighton. I need to be more appreciative of it as its right near me and i know people from the city/centre are amazed at it :L. But yeah still go on holiday, havent for a few years though
Do you ever feel like you want to go home?
