    Default Nistlerooy update: Liverpool?

RVN TO TURN DOWN ARSENAL...FOR LIVERPOOL
A few papers have been dancing around this story for a few weeks now, but The Daily Mirror goes balls out (if you will) with the story linking Ruud van Nistelrooy to Liverpool.

They report that the perennially-lame galloper will turn down a move from Arsenal and 'rescue Liverpool's season'.

We think it will take more than a 33-year-old who's barely played in the last year to do that, but the paper seems pretty confident about their story.

Liverpool's budget means Rafa Benitez will not have any money to spend, so if van Nistelrooy is to come to Anfield then it will be on loan if - 'as seems likely' - he is allowed to leave Real Madrid in January.
I know its from the papers but it's worth posting up on here.

I wouldn't say no, sure he gets injured alot too but it can't hurt. Plus MU have Owen, we'll take RVN. Fairs fair.

That paper seems really biased, almost like a joke paper. I can see it happening and it will be good for them if it does. Don't really mind that he turned us down. We have 8 players that can play in the front 3 position and if we needed 1 more then we have the money to buy someone else.

Are you taking the piss? If that source is even written correctly, who does he think he is? I would never want him at Liverpool. And yeah, where's he been for the last few years anyway?

At Real Madrid being injured. Saying that' he is a good player and would be a decent bench player for you to sub on just like Owen is for United. It's worth a punt even if you Loan him out or pay a few Mill for him.
