Brought windows 7, But say i whipe my HDD and reinstall windows, can i use the license again on the same pc?

You just have it boot from CD, install then it will moan about how the upgrade serial is for upgrades only (not custom/full installation), then you just have it work without activation, then you just insert the CD again and it will just assume you're upgrading Windows 7 to Windows 7

Incorrect. The upgrade key will only work if its an upgrade. If you try a fresh install it will say key invalid Originally Posted by triston220
