    It's really a question of money. If my mum has the money then she'll usually get something for me if I ask for it but I usually don't ask. Same for my dad really.

    I used to when i was little, im the only child so i kinda got what i wanted. When i turned like 11 it started to change and now i get my money each month and i have to pay for what i want, if i do something good at college then maybe ill get some nice.

    I'll third that, one of my friends just get a crap load of money from my parents and it's totally distorted his judgement of the value of money, he's is really stuck up sometimes. When he's a skint student (providing his parents don't send him huge sums of money) he's in for a shock
