Body of man discovered in Herne Bay park

The body of a man has been discovered in a park at a seaside resort in Kent.

Police said officers were called to Memorial Park, in Spenser Road, Herne Bay, at about 0730 GMT. They were alerted by a member of the public.
The death of the middle-aged man is being treated as unexplained while police investigate the circumstances.



The area around the discovery, which is known locally as the Maze, has been sealed off to allow a forensic examination of the scene.
