    Default Vbulletin Tutorial

    yeah it is now a sticky

    seeming as every1 is having problems with setting up vbulletin
    i have decided to make a tutorial

    You must make sure you have a legal copy of vbulletin and a host

    step1.
    go to vbulletin
    and download
    http://www.vbulletin.com/

    Step2.
    Next extract all files to a folder on your computer
    and then look in the folder for the includes folder
    in side that you will find a file called
    config.php.new
    rename it to config.php

    Step3
    Configuring the Config.php

    Step 4
    Upload to ur Sever usally takes 1-1 1/2 hours

    Step 5 go to the installer
    www.example.cpm/install/install.php
    you need to have your vbulletin number handy
    and then you just need to follow the steps then you are nearly done

    or do this

    step 6
    after the installer has finished delete install.php
    and your now able to use ur forum

    Step 7
    Uploading skins
    Find the file in the skin folder
    usally sumthing.xml
    and upload that name the template the sam as this file
    and then upload the file to ya sever

    For anyone with cpanle, if youd rather have the upload take minutes rather than a few hours, simply upload the zip file, and use cpanles exstarct function to take the files out online, they will alos be in the correct order due to how they were packed in to the zip orgnaly

    (delate the zip once its exstarcted)
