    Exclamation Cold Sore!

I have a HUGE red cold sore at either side of my lip.
Anyone have an idea how to get rid of it over night?

Hepatitis is what gives cold sores. You have it. I have it. 75 percent of the population have it.

And it never goes away. Ever.

Anyway Zovirax is good for cold sores, although it won't go away over night, it'll dry it up. They are a nuisance.

Yep, i'm afraid you have it for life now (don't worry - not visible 100% of the time!)

To cover it or help it heal use some Vasoline or Savlon or any other similar creams.

Also 'Compeed' have a good cold sore treatment, just forgot what it's called now but visit their website

Cover cold sores with a protective petroleum-based product. This will speed healing and help protect it from secondary infection with bacteria.

To apply a product to your cold sore, wash your hands with hot, soapy water (before and after) and gently dab a generous amount to the surrounding area and directly on to the cold sore, working your way inwards to avoid spreading the virus out.

If it is still bad,go see a GP
