It's a forum for gamers and people who are interested in gadgetry, games, etc. And we're in need of forum moderators for our boards (and also members) so if you have the time to register, make a few posts, apply to be a mod (in one board only for the time being) yeah, it'd really help us out.

He alone has already put me off from returning.. I am guessing he is about 12/13? If you are going to create a successful site, don't just hire the first person that applies - as your userbase is small, you can quite easily moderate the forum yourself. Then as and when it picks up activity, you begin to hire and recruit moderators, which impress you, not just because they are the first person to apply and you're worried that they won't return if they don't get the job.

This is the one thing that seriously irritates me with new forums though. They are always overloaded with staff and no true members - this I feel is what leads to the downfall of most forums.
