The rainbow bird is perhaps the rarest and hardest to find animal on the planet. It is sometimes quoted as the “Alien of the birds” for its unique blend of colours and it’s high altitude life style. It is unknown where the rainbow bird can be found. There have been reported sightings if it all across the globe. It is a unique phenomena in the sense that only one of its species can live at any given time, meaning that there will never be two rainbow birds alive at the same time. This is due to the rainbow bird dyeing when it gives birth. Strangely, the species lives on because the rainbow bird is actually born pregnant and actually takes the longest time of all species known to man to give birth. The average lifespan of the rainbow bird is not currently known, but scientists estimate that it is somewhat between 90 and 120 human years.

The rainbow bird diet
The rainbow bird is completely self efficient and as a result does not need to hunt. the rainbow bird actually feeds of a process which is similar to photosynthesis. Where by the bird converts carbon dioxide into organic compounds. But occasionally the rainbow bird will feed off any mammal it can find including an occasional wolf.

Discovery of the rainbow bird
The unique and fascinating species dubbed the rainbow bird was first discovered in 1905 when a group of scientists were led into the Amazon rainforest by sir david Baldwin. On this trip the group set up camp right next to what is believed to be the only rainbow birds nest found to date. When the group discovered this massive nest they accidently startled the bird which then fled off into the sky. The size of the bird is believed to be around 5ft in height and has a wingspan of2.5meters. since the discovery there has only been two more sightings of the rainbow bird one of these is an actual photo. A amateur bird photographer set up a camera to capture the hawks feeding off some bait. But when he came back to check the photos he was shocked to find that he had actually caught this almost mythical bird on camera.

And although I can’t go into detail, i can say that the great fire of London was created when a rainbow bird gave birth and then the repercussion of the dead birds carcass setting alight. Well for a start, considering a Bald Eagle's wingspan for example is about two and a half times its body length, the dimensions don't really add up. Pretty much no piece of information is plausible but I just wanted to throw that in there.
