Is it wrong when friends like people you like?

I currently just joined the community, but Also I have a problem,

I have liked a friend of mine for a while. We recently have been losing contact more and more everyday, until today, he started to text me again. But the thing is, another friend of mine has started to like him as well. And. . . He likes my friend back. But then he told me today he still likes me :S . Which I think that was just to make me feel better, because I wasn't very happy today.

Is this wrong? What do I do? I don't want to deal with any drama. Advice would really be appreciated.

I am not quite sure what is happening, do you like him as in "love like" or "friends like"? If it is just friends why would it matter if your other friend likes him? If it is the former then if your friend knows you fancy this guy they should respect you a little and leave you two alone

I believe she/he means Love/Fancy, because if she/he didn't then she wouldn't of posted about it, if you understand what I mean. Just guessing tho.

LOL at your username! Problem.. Does it matter if they like each other, that obviously means they don't like you, deal with it. Thousands of people do. That obviously means they're not right for you.

No-one should try to stop any of their friends from liking someone unless they are ugly.

Let's say A and B are friends. C comes along and they both happen to like him. Now, C only likes A but not B, so when A and C start getting close B plays the "can't go for someone a friend likes" card, and no-one ends up happy because C is never going to like B. This is a rubbish thing to have happen and B should have moved on and let their friend be happy rather than hang on to the hope that someone out of their league will pick up their ugly behind over their prettier friend.

Now the issue has progressed. The guy who i like told the other person that he loves them :S . And the problem is I have liked him for so long, and apparently he liked me too. ;[ Not sure what to do to be honest, because I really do still like/fancy him. We use to text all the time ect. Like, and now he likes the other person? I'm really confused.
