i love bear grylls! survivorman by les stroud is gd or ray mears although i don't recommend him as much tho

Ray Mears is the best one if not only for the fact that he actually gives you useful information but his attitude to life and nature is fantastic.

I've only seen an episode of Ray Mears Extreme Survival and it was good but a little slow and boring. I'm pretty sure he probably has better series and he does love life and nature, but Ray Mears, although more knowledgeable and tougher just doesnt have the same showmanship as Bear Grylls.
