Default The FINAL Election Debate - 7 days to go!

With only 7 days to go until the General Election of the United Kingdom the three potential Prime Minister's are taking part in the third Leader's Debate this year.

Gordon Brown (Labour), David Cameron (Conservative) and Nick Clegg (Liberal Democrats) will face eachother in debate for the first time since last thursday's Sky News Debate in which Cameron won over Clegg & Brown.

Tonight's debate theme is: THE ECONOMY

Which should be an interesting topic for debate, along with hearing what all three leaders have to say about Gordon Brown's bigot comment and Nick Clegg's bilge comment.

The bigot comment has been blown out of proportion. Its becoming a joke now, but no doubt they will mention it to show everyone he is rude and arrogant, even though they all are.

I'm interested to know what they will say, as they will both know they have made similar comments, Clegg really can't say anything after he told a student he was talking aload of bilge.

Just for people who haven't read up on Nick Clegg's comment:

GRUMPY Lib Dem leader Nick Clegg showed the strain yesterday when he accused a politics student who questioned his background of talking "bilge".

Chris Williams, 18, accused Mr Clegg of portraying himself as "a man of the people" when he was a private-schooled, Cambridge-educated banker's son.

He also said Mr Clegg had lobbied in the early 1990s for Colonel Gaddafi's Libya.

Rattled Mr Clegg, who was speaking at Cardiff University's Student Union, snapped: "This is just such bilge.
Mr Clegg was asked why he described lobbying as "bilge" when he had once been a partner in a European lobbying firm for nearly a year.

He said: "What I said was bilge, which it is of course, was the suggestion that I worked with or for Colonel Gaddafi, which is also deeply comical."
In 1992-93 he worked for GJW, who helped Colonel Gaddafi resist efforts to send the Lockerbie bomber to the UK for trial - but left it off his CV.

I think its fair to say Gordon Brown won that debate. David Cameron was just there dodging questions and tonight showed flaws in his awful policies.
