Help please?

Well since last night my xbox has decided to mess around.

When ever I put a disk in rather than load it/ read it, it comes up "Open tray". It used to do this before but a simple blow in the disk tray got rid of this problem. But now it wont go away. It's been like this since around 8pm last night. I've tried different disks, giving it a slight tap and tried it standing up. None worked. Any ideas on what to do?

If you cant get it to work and its still under xbox manafacters guarantee then i suggest ringing them up and sending it to them. Its free i think and they return it to you within like 2 weeks.

Also if its plugged in all the time unplug it for like 30 mins let it cool down then retry it, That fixed one of my brothers xbox problems.

Yeah I unplugged it all last night from around 9, got up this morning and tried it and COD worked. But came home and same problem. Just watched some little kid fixed his on yt and that seemed to work for now..

i had that with my old xbox people fix them for around 54.99 the lasers mess up.

Noo it works now
