Dog training.

I recently got a love charles spaniel for £150 of some one who lives a few streets away from mine i called him Skittles!, where their supposed to leave their mothers after 8 weeks he didn't leave till 12 weeks so he's still attached to her but my sister got his brother and my next door neighbour is getting one of the over ones what will be his brother,

the thing is he seems a bit upset he's been crying a bit, and his brother is coming around later but is their anything i can do to make him happy?

and how should i train him, as i have never trained a dog before,

He probably can't bare your terrible grammar :L oj, but you just start off by giving a command (e.g. 'sit') and gently push down on his back and he should sit then give him lots of praise. Just spend a few minutes repeating this at a time and stick to one thing, then once he's learnt to do it himself on your command, come back another day with a new command.
