    Default help please, buying new computer and need to know.....

    hey! im buying a custom made computer from my local PC shop and would like to know how this would perform on these games,

    Grand Theft Auto San Andreas
    The Sims 3
    Habbo

    And would it be good for browsing the internet? Im not really tech savvy so help appreciated thx.

    Processor: AMD Phenom(tm) II X4 945 Processor @3000MHz
    Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce GT 220 ~1024MB
    Memory ( RAM ): Memory: 4096MB RAM
    Operating System: Windows 7

    How would that perform?

    With a set up like that, I hope you're playing more than games like that... Habbo runs fine on almost any system.

    should be fine, you'll be able to play the majority of pre-2007 games maxed out and many games since 2007 on high quality with decent framerates with those specs.

    Sims 3 might stuggle on full settings.

    Doubt it. I'm running an Athlon II X2 250, 2Gb RAM and an HD 4670, all on Windows 7.

    Sims 3 running fine on all high settings, including full edge smoothing. (sim detail is on high instead of very high though)

    That system you have chosen will defo run Sims 3 well, but consider a change of graphics card. What graphics cards are available from this shop?

    The guy at the shop orders the parts for you. What graphics card do you reccomend?

    ATi 5770. Not the highest performing card out there but good bang for buck and much much better than that GT 220.
