    Default Calls from call centres

Do you bother speaking to them when they ring? I have noticed more and more of the calls now are automated and a pre-recorded message comes up.

I usually hang up if its the pre-recorded one. If its a person, I ask which company they are calling from to just double check its a crappy call, say the person they want isn't in and hang up.

If I know for sure it's just a pointless call I say "We're not interested, don't ring again!!!" all angry and then hang up. It normally works.

I will say that next time. Usually if I hang up, they keep ringing back "/.

The first time a company rings I will politely ask to be removed from their database.... if they ring again then it's a big mistake.... I hit the roof and they get a lot of abuse thrown at them. It normally results in them putting the phone down and not calling back

I feel really sorry for them and can't hang up. I'd rather turn someone away at the door.
