As the topic title says, I think I win a bit.
I stayed home from school yesterday because my legs were sore and I could barely walk.
So I got bored at around 12:30 or so, and my PS3 was just sitting there, all lonely, and dusty..
About 6-7 months back, my PS3 got YLoD (yellow light of death), which is pretty much the 360's RRoD (red rings of death/doom).
Anyways, I decided I was gonna perform surgery on my PS3.
I got a small, Phillip's screwdriver, a butter knife, and a hairdryer.

And tada. No more YLoD for me!
Now, here's the sad part.
Within those 6-7 months of no PS3, I lost my A/V cables as well as my HDMI cables. : /.

BUT STILL! I successfully performed surgery on my PS3, so, I think I deserve a pat on the back.

Seriously though? Blowing the dust off doesn't remove YLoD. : /. And I know this as fact.

Yeah. It's about three years old now.

what did you do with the knife? :S

I used it to get the top off. o_O. The s.o.b. was hard to get off. : D.
